Analisis dan Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penelitian Berbasis Website Menggunakan Fasilitas SMS Gateway (Studi Kasus di Teknik Industri Universitas Diponegoro)

Information technology is one thing that is needed to simplify the process of data transfer. By using a web-based information system, can improve the quality and added value to the Industrial Engineering, Diponegoro University (IT UNDIP). Conditions KP, KKI and TA research procedures today is the absence of firm data base KP, KKI which became a reference for students, no data subject has ever done and many procedures that use manual documentation, causing repetition or redundancy of data, when the data already exists in the SIA. For that in this research will be the development of systems that can integrate the needs of the user, making it easier for both students or lecturer in conducting research. Results of this information system design is formed database that holds the data companies KP, KKI, the data research topics that have been done, and reduce files used from 7 files into only two files / documents manually. With the implementation of SMS Gateway, seminar and sidang registration information more quickly are known by the coordinator, as well as seminars and sidang date information can be known by the students and lecturer through the SMS facility.
